Papy Abedi (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) has replaced Rich Attonito (10-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and now meets fellow welterweight Rick Story (13-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) at next month's UFC on FX 4 event.

UFC officials today announced the switch while stating Attonito suffered an undisclosed injury.

UFC on FX 4 takes place June 22 at Revel Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

The night's main card card airs on FX. The prelims, including Abedi vs. Story, air on FUEL TV.

This fight is to keep Story in the W Column, if Alves can get him on the ground & choke him out well we all know Story is going to do the same.

Same here. His fight with thiago was good but didn't he get mauled in his last fight?!? Maybe being a last minute replacement kept him his job for at least one more round of getting his ass handed to him. After story beats him though he's gone.

He came in with a lot of hype and a ridiculous costume, has he even won a single fight in the UFC? Story seems like to big of an opponent for him at this point.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Papy Abedi looks like Tarzan but fights like Jane....he's nothing more than a videogame create-a-fighter who aesthetically speaking, looks like a world champion, but from what I've seen, he's nowhere near a UFC-caliber fighter.

Story's night just got a helluva lot easier, Rd. 1 GNP in short order, look for Story to probably get a call-up fight if somebody gets hurt before or after this one, because a) this fight does nothing for him and b)he probably won't take a lick of damage in it.
