Shogun in the UFC would be cool. I think the only LHW's that could give him a real battle are Liddell (Always a punchers chance even though Shogun would have the significant edge), Babalu, Rampage, and possibly Evans if they fought a year or two down the road.

Wow! Doesn't seem like anyone is giving Liddell a chance against shogun! Shogun is one of the best, if not THE best at the LHW limit but I wouldn't just cancel Chuck's membership at champion status if Shogun shows at UFC. I think this fight (if it happens soon) would be great!

Yeah it'd be foolish not to say Chuck has a good chance at defeating Shogun. You can take any top 5 LHW's and have them fight eachother with the outcomes going either way. Chuck would either try to setup the counter strike and end it that way or if he's getting out struck by shogun then he may just utilize the great wrestling he does have and take him to the mat. Ppl seem to forget Chucks' days as a Div 1 wrestler and the fact that he actually trains bjj as well..not to the extent of some but he's a purple belt. I guess good example of this is with Overeem, he took him down to gain uperhand, Overeem was getting gassed and then BAM ... lights out for overeem. Shogun did the same thing with Overeem as well.

I'd love to see Shogun come to the UFC, especially if Shogun and Wandy never end up fighting eachother.

mma math = always right :banghead:
Shogun takes too many punches in his fights to be able to stand and trade with Chuck without get KTFO.
I believe that the outcome of the fight also depends on what rules are used. Shogun's stomps and head kicks on the ground are a huge part of Shogun's skill set. Obviously Shogun's best chance is in Pride, but I still see Chuck winning no matter what org.
Either way, I hope the fight happens, no matter what the outcome.

score an early takedown and GnP out a decision. with proper training and if its a 3 round fight id say its possible
