Yeah hioki said he wanted at least one more UFC fight under his belt. Can't say I blame his reasoning but turning down a UFC title shot ESP in a situation where they needed a legit contender cannot sit well with the brass.

Yea I don't blame him, but hell everyone thought he was the next contender for sure. Plus, he earned the shot. Koch been doing well, but nobody really had him in contention talk. Oh well, Aldo vs Koch, TKZ, and Hioki are all good match-ups we are going to see at some point. Might as well shut up and enjoy'em!

No one is leap frogging anyone that I know of. I should of put FW #1 contender instead of Aldo's next opponent but that was just me giving Koch literally zero chance

TKZ was limping after the fight mentioning a knee injury he may of sustained. He'll probably be out some time just for the damage he took. He won't be fighting for the title anytime soon.

Zombie vs Hioki does make sense. But I don't think Zuffa can afford to start eliminating contenders at 145lbs. They were practically begging Frank Edgar to cut weight because they were desperate only a few months ago.

It's hard to know if Hioki's in the doghouse for turning down that fight. True, he would have been in the good graces of management, but it's not Hioki's fault that the Brazilian stadium show fell apart. But Hioki and his management better not start calling out Aldo for a title shot anytime soon if they know what's good for them.
