i mean, if anyone could stake there claim for a rematch no matter what its anderson. but i have always believed there should only be an immediate rematch if the champ loses to a questionable dec by the judges. if the challenger loses even if its questionable, well too bad. unless its so obviously wrong that you cant make a case for the champ to have won

I say yes. Anderson has defended the belt so many times plus Sonnen vs Anderson sells. Perhaps they might give them both one fight inbetween but if Sonnen beats Anderson they will do an Anderson as a challenger vs Sonnen as champion fight.

Anderson Silva has been the most dominant champ in MMA history, of course he deserves an immediate rematch, at least until the drug tests are all cleared.

Simple the past the loser had to fight at least one other fight before they got a rematch. Money and not the result they wanted to me are the biggest reason they've been doing it.

Only if its a controversial decision that would warrant a rematch anyway. I don't think either fighters history should factor into it. If Sonnen manages to finish Silva, Silva should have to win a fight or two to get another shot.

It depends on how the fight plays out for me. If Sonnen dominates or finishes Silva then no rematch. If it is a close fight and Sonnen barely wins then yes I think a rematch would be okay.
