that was wasn't a good idea by jon in my opinion. you can't start off an "apology" by criticizing people for being upset with you for doing something illegal, dangerous, life threatening AND the exact thing he said he would never do only a few weeks ago when talking about why the ufc sponsored him.
EDIT: i dind't realize it was never really referred to as an apology but this statement hurt him more than helped as far as his image goes.

Would have been better off not releasing this statement IMO. Not really sure what this was supposed to accomplish.
It never really gave us an insight into anything we never knew, it never came off apologetic, and i can't see how this would draw any public sympathy
I think Jones needs a good publicist and management team, and should probably lay low for a while

I wonder if there's any plans to have him on any future cards in Canada? I hear it's difficult to get into Canada if one is sporting a DUI/DWI. Maybe GSP can vouch for him.

I saw the pic of his "Bent"ley, it honestly doesnt look that bad. His Mom probably could have driven it home for him, just have to tie down the hood with bungies. BTW, she has a tattoo that reads Son.
