I do not understand all the hate for Brock now that his career is over. He was thrown to the wolves in his UFC career and came out with one of the better HWs in UFC history. Like it or not Brock is a sure-fire Hall of Famer and should be anyone's all time Top 10 HW list. Even though his career was short he has some very notable wins.

Herring (probably the worse fighter he ever fought in the UFC)
Couture (UFC champion)
Mir (2x UFC Champion)
Carwin (UFC Champion)

So in his UFC career he beat 3 UFC champions. Anderson Silva has beaten 3 as well. So come on guys, give Brock his props.

i can name many guys who should be in there before him, i mean come on he fought only what 6 times in the ufc and lost twice so a 4-2 ufc record and he belongs in the hof? how bout tanner? Tim fucking sylvia over brock, him and AA held the hw div up for years, Tito and Frank for sure

Agreed. I dont know if he belongs or will be in the HOF some day... but for this guy to get such a late start in MMA coming from wrestling in college, to WWE, then to try for the NFL, then into MMA where he fought nothing but the best fighters is pretty fucking amazing. Like the guy or not....pretty sick what he did even though it didnt last long.

I have no issue with Brock, but there IS NO WAY IN HELL he gets into the HOF before Tito and some others.

C'mon man, thats the same bullshit people got throughout brock's career...if you questioned him, even a little bit, you were hating on him.

I don't hate him. I just don't think he's "one of the better HW's in UFC history," and I don't have him even close to being a Hall of Fame candidate.

You're massaging your statistics a bit here.

Couture was coming off a 15 month layoff, and Mir and Carwin were both interim champs when lesnar faced them.

So is Nog a sure-fire Hall of Famer? Is Tim Sylvia, or does beating Andre twice not count?

Is Velasquez just one-win-over-a-former-champion away from being a sure-fire HoFer?

I'm not hating on lesnar, I just think there is another valid interpretation of your analysis of his accomplishments.

Yeahhhhh...Brock only had one great performance imo (against Mir 2nd fight). He had a pretty hard time with the old man Couture who was coming off a 15 month layoff and gave up about 60 pounds, and only beat Carwin because he completely gassed. They were still impressive victories, but HOF worthy, no way...not when you have as few of fights as him. You better be pretty damn impressive if you expect to get into the HOF after 7 fights...4-3 just doesn't cut it for me.
