Overeem has a cardio issue, and has had some injuries, however he is one of my favorite fighters to watch. Shogun however is better all around, but Overeem has a better clinch IMO.

He is still only 33 years old so I do expect him to return and return with some fire.
Back on topic - How could you not love this fight? Overeem is one of the best strikers in the world who does not get outstruck handily on his feet, he simply disects his opponents and worked Shogun in the standup last time.
Shogun will keep this fight standing as long as he can get the better of the exchanges and I would expect Overeem to have better TD defense this time around, Shogun certainly has the edge but only a fool would count out Overeem in any fight.
Easily the best card of 07 thus far, it dominates UFC 67 in every sense of the word, much better matchups as always.
UFC 67 is a display of skills card for Cro Cop, Silva and Rampage, nothing more than that, I will still be ordering it but the excitement for me is going to come from Pride 33 in the form of SIlva vs Hendo, SHogun vs Overeem, Gomi vs Diaz, Kazu vs Wuiff then you have Misaki vs Trigg which is a pretty decent matchup, Mach is fighting on the card and there are still 2-3 more fights to be announced with the candidates consisting of Big Nog, Lil Nog, Aleks, Fujita and Arona so at least 2 more of those names will be on the card, what more could anyone possibly ask for without being a complete idiot?

NEVER count out Overeem...
The Pride 33 is now INSANE and puts UFC67 to shame. Dana is going to have to pull something out of his ass here soon if Pride is going to pull out cards like this.
I am serisouly not even thinking about the UFC PPV anymore, all I want is Pride 33.

Now if Pride adds Fedor v Rulon Gardner to this card...I am literally going to pull a Timmah and shit my pants, I think I will have totally forgotten the UFC 67 card...

I own Alistair's fight shorts, so i gotta pull for him, but shogun will most likely take the fight. Should be a good match, though and I'm looking forward to it because the Pride card so fat doesn't intrest me that much.

this is potentially a very bad match up for shogun... it was overeem who seemed to dominate the standup their last match until he was mounted and pounded out.. if he can keep it on the feet and shows improved cardio.. this fight could turn into an upset victory for alistair.... i hope shogun wins this though and hopefully it'll turn some heads as to who the true #1 LHW fighter in the world is.
the gomi/diaz fight is the one i'm probably most looking foward to though.. i think diaz is going to want to prove something and will want to stand and exchange.

I think pride 33 looks pretty damn good, better then any UFC, but what about Cung Le wasn't he supposed to fight?
