I am really excited to see this rematch but I was hoping it would have some time to simmer before it happened. Unfortunately, there's no one else right now who could possibly fill in the slot unless Cormier was gifted the titleshot upon his entrance to the UFC. I would like to see both Cain and Cormier get another win over top 5 opponents under their belts before getting the shot. Let JDS take a vacation for a while, that guy has been ripping everyone's heart out.

Dana is obviously reading this board and getting tired of hearing posters like Riv complain about new fans hating rematches. Maybe he is giving back to the old school die hards.

I think Cain should get the shot and I think it will be a much better fight this time around as Cain looked phenomenal and isn't fresh coming off of shoulder surgery.

If they didn't know what the outcome of that fight is then they are a)very slow or b)related to Mir (and couldn't watch b/c of prior engagement) or c) sniggles.

i understand there really isnt anyone else to challenge jds right now, aside from cain, but fuck, seems everyone is getting a title shot after winning one fight since their title loss

Who that was a champ lost it looked good the next fight didn't get a rematch other than injuries prevented? If you didn't look good some got 2 fights. Much better than all of the instant rematches we have been seeing at lw.
