Dana would have been crazy not to suggest Brock might come back. Also said he hadn't talked to Brock. Dana hasn't said anything liable were he would own Brock money for using his name, but look at the attention the UFC will get from this$$$$$$
Brock Lesnar reportedly meeting with Dana White to discuss possible UFC return
Quote:
As it turns out, Brock was there to talk business. This little meeting was set up beforehand, actually. This according to Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline, who tweeted as much from the post-fight media scrum with White in "Sin City:"
"Brock texted Dana a week and a half ago and said he wanted to come to show, and to keep it secret. Dana says he and Brock are going to talk later tonight."
Obviously, that's a pretty big bombshell, especially considering the fact that word has already gotten out that a potential return to MMA is in the works for Lesnar.
But what about his deal with WWE?
If you recall, Lesnar signed a one-year contract for what was believed to be around $5 million, no small price for a company that isn't used to handing out such large checks to its performers. But there are now reports floating around, completely unsubstantiated at this point, that his WWE deal is non-exclusive and if he wants to return to MMA, even if only for one fight, he is able to do so.
Now, this is where it gets interesting.
Speaking from experience from working in the pro wrestling field, and as the Managing Editor of CagesideSeats.com, this entire thing smells fishy. It's entirely possible Lesnar is unhappy with the environment at WWE and after spending a month back in pro wrestling, he's decided he wants to come back to the (mostly) unscripted world of MMA.
But it's also just as possible that Lesnar has absolutely no intentions of coming back to fight inside the Octagon and this is all just a work perpetrated by WWE head honcho Vince McMahon and his cast and crew. After all, what better way to get publicity for his promotion than sending Lesnar to a major heavyweight fight and having him tease going back to the UFC? It's certainly not the first time something like this has happened.
Remember Undertaker showing up at UFC 121 and trying to pick a fight with Lesnar during an on-camera interview with Ariel Helwani?
For this to be a work, though, that would mean one of two things regarding Dana White: 1) He knows and is willfully going along with it as a favor to WWE or 2) He doesn't know and he's a mark who is being played and doesn't even realize it. At this point and with this little information available at present time, I'm not leaning either way.
Brock Lesnars current WWE storyline has him in a legal battle with the WWE for breach of contract. Lesnar is currently "suing" them with the help of his "Legal advisor" Paul Heyman. I promise you, this is a work. WWE more then likely told Lesnar to attend the fight to play up his "unhappiness" with the current situation.
I'd love to see Lesnar back in the octagon but I don't see it happening, with that being said I do believe he still had one fight left under his UFC contract when he left.

Paul Heyman is a wrestling personality, NOT a lawyer, lol.
But Dana has always respected Vince and vice versa and Vince is a visionary and seems to always know where to take the company. I guarantee while Brock is "fired" he could have a fight, a winnable fight and go back to WWE.

I do however think Brock can certainly put JDS on his back and wreck him like he did Mir. Im sure if he can put Cain on his back JDS shouldn't be a problem
And do not forget that Brock was not able to take down Overroid, and JDS has way better TDD defense than the cheater.
JDS would destroy Brock before he even tries a takedown, just like he did with Cain.
However this talk is all pointless, Brock is retired and the rumours of his return are just that, weak rumours. Even if he returns he will lose to any Top 5 fighter.

I don't think Brock was even in that fight mentally. The illness really jacked him up from what we can tell. But if Brock can take down Cain, he can take down Ubereem.

That would be the reason I had legal advisor in quotations
And for the record Brock never attempted a takedown in the AO fight...which is IMO the main reason he got destroyed. Brock could more than likely take down junior and AO but he would have to wade through numerous shots to the face to do so...and we all know how that tends to work out for him.
It always seemed extremely unlikely that Dana White would ever let one of his fighters compete in the Octagon while simultaneously working in the squared circle for the WWE or any other professional wrestling organization, but has he changed his mind?
“I don’t know, we’ve got to talk and see what’s going on. Well, he went back to the WWE it’s no secret. Big people get it, there’s nothing fake going on over here. It’s real. I don’t know we’ll see,” White said.
That’s obviously not a guarantee one way or the other from White, but it’s also not a flat out denial that it could be a possibility.
