Well, technically a break is what is going to stop the main event from happening as Ultimate Fighter Brazil coach Vitor Belfort has suffered a broken hand and is out of his main event fight against Wanderlei Silva.

UFC President Dana White confirmed the news following UFC 146 on Saturday night.

UFC 147 has undergone several issues since being announced for June 23 in Brazil.

This sucks because I wanted to see this fight, however the good part is that Wand will not get KOd again. Well it depends, let's see who will be the replacement.

Brian Stann will step up and fill in for Vitor. It is not like Stann's last fight took much out of him and the UFC wants to continue to build his brand.

Yes and probably it will be the main event.

Maybe they will make Belcher vs Wandy. And unfortunately Wand would lose this one too.
It is a shame that Akiyama is injured, that would be a very winnable fight for Wandy.

Come on guys where is your support and faith in Wandi? Its not like Wandi has been getting knocked out by any and every body. Also he just got a win over Cung Le so that should account for something.

Lets not assume that every fight he gets in he is going to get wrecked. If I was Dana this fight would hold off until Vitor is healed. Hell let them do the Ultimate Fighter in the interim so they can heal up and both be ready later on this year.

There is no reason Dana cant substitue the main event for Belcher vs Munoz or Belcher vs Bisping. Both of those fights are more meaningful anyways.

I think Belcher makes sense for the fight but Belcher deserves a top contender. I would really like to see a rematch with Rich Franklin but Franklin is fighting Chung Le.
