| A Confident Ben Henderson Proclaims That Edgar Will Never Ever Beat Him A Confident Ben Henderson Proclaims That Edgar Will Never Ever Beat Him Quote:
Who knows? I think a part of that is Dana White being the big boss man and head honcho, scored the fight another way. He felt that fight warranted an immediate rematch, which is fine by me. It’s cool. It was a fun fight for me. I had a good time in there. As far as running it back, by all means, let’s do it. We can run it back 10 times, but 10 times out of 10 times, I intend on having the same outcome, if not ending the fight earlier. In my opinion, that’s a really tough spot to be in, as a champ. Frankie did it twice. He said, ‘Yeah, that’s fine. Let’s do it. It was a close decision, so let’s run it back.’ He showed what he has inside, by agreeing to that. I want to be the same way. I want to show what I have inside, and agree to it. Let’s run it back. I have no problem with that at all.”
Henderson also comments on his former WEC rival Anthony Pettis.
“I’m definitely not going to sleep on Pettis. That boy is explosive, he’s very skilled, he’s very driven. I’m not going to sleep on his skillset or anything he brings to the table. He had a tough fight. He had some holes that got exposed, but I’m sure he’s been working on those since. I’m sure he’ll be way better in his next fight then he was in his last one. Other than seeing how much heart a guy has, I like to see how much better they get from fight to fight. For me, I always want to be a better fighter than my last fight. Pettis is also one of those guys. He is a better fighter, with each fight, and I think he’s going to continue that.”

| ‘Bendo’ confident about UFC title maintenance ‘Bendo’ confident about UFC title maintenance ‘Bendo’ confident about UFC title maintenance :: TATAME Quote:
“Me and Edgard are back at August 11th. It’s going to be an exciting fight. I’m doing everything I can to make sure the fight ends the way the first one did”, explains the champion.
A little over two months before their second confrontation, Bendo guarantees he’s not in camp yet, and that he only gets in it few weeks before the fight.
“Training’s going good. Not quite in training camp yet. I do short training camp, like five weeks long. But I’m in the gym everyday and that’s why I don’t need like six weeks to get back in shape and have a training camp. I train three, four times a day and then the training camp starts and I fight for an specific fighter, but training’s going good”.
Ben Henderson is a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and is used to fight gi Jiu-Jitsu. When questioned about Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, the American guaranteed only to do it when properly prepared, but that he’s officially in the World of this week, but not to fight.
“I train with the gi everyday. I do all the local tournaments, I might do Mundial this year. I might go watch, but not gonna fight. Not this time. I didn’t have enough time to train in the gi. Last time I didn’t take it seriously. I train everyday but just messing around. I got third place, I loss and I don’t like losing, so next time I do Mundials I wanna train hard for like six weeks, train hard in the gi everyday, like three hours a day, four hours a day and then go to Mundials”.
In case he overcomes Edgar, Ben might face Nate Diaz, who got a win this month against Jim Miller at UFC on Fox 3. About the possible confrontation with Diaz, the tough guy cumplimented Nate.
“Nate Diaz is a tough fighter. He brings certain skills back to the table. By the time we do face each other I’m sure we’ll take a look at him and see what he does, where we wanna beat him and how we’re gonna beat him. But right now my eyes are just focused on Frankie”.
For the Brazilian’s happiness, Henderson assured to be at UFC on June 23rd, in Belo Horizonte.
“I’m coming out to Brazil for June 23rd for the next UFC card. I’m pretty excited, my first time in Brazil. I’m super excited. I’ll see you guys later”.

It's funny how people title their articles. He basically says that he intends to win every time he fights. Of course he does, I'm pretty sure everyone does. And that somehow translates to proclaiming Edgar will never ever beat him.

Bendo is one of the best lw's in the world. He has been for a long time. I see him as a good ambassador for the sport and a humble champion. I think he will put edgar away in this rematch. Nate is the guy that's going to give him the most trouble. If he finds a way to win that fight then he will hold the belt for awhile. I think he has progressed much further than pettis and I see Henderson taking that rematch as well.
