I'll bet he's back in active service within the next 24 months.

To me a soldier is a soldier, the dog of the military. I have more respect for the strategist.

Actually, it wasn't him saying that, it was you, at least to anyone who can read between the lines.

is it possible to respect ANY soldier's bravery without respecting what they actually do over there? because when "over there" becomes "over here" war becomes real for even the most politically correct flagwavers.
lets not put optimus in a corner, i think he might be 50% percent right, and now he cant go back even if he wanted to cause youve offended him.
its okay to miss your real buddies when you cant get a steady injection of action in Strikeforce and keep collecting losses. that green beret will go back to work if he loses his upcoming title shot. if he says he misses it, i believe the guy, its genuine. if by some chance he's proud of his military tenure and mentions it even milks it im okay with that too, for now.

My guess is he will really do it again (run towards bullets that is). | Why would you agree Kennedy is milking his former service and then attack him for it?

He goes and offends anybody who has served and were not to offend him. Most of your post was decent, but part of it I think you were drinking the kool aid.
