Tim Kennedy enlisted in the United States Army in 2004, where he went on to become a Green Beret sniper with Special Forces qualifications. Kennedy has been deployed on many occasions and reading his current outburst on twitter it is apparent he is not against going back to a war zone.
His twitter account basically blew up this week, where he responded to a variety of recent news in the Middle East.

Wow, pretty misleading title. I thought he was going to quit now and go back to the Army. He's often said that he's only got a couple years left in him before he goes back.

Tim Kennedy kicks ass. Rather see him finally in the UFC then back at war but I'd support him either way. War Kennedy!

He is using his time served to get attention to his MMA career. I don't buy the whole running to bullets bullshit anyways, there's such a thing as tactics for a reason.
