The UFC recently announced the second international version of The Ultimate Fighter and that it would be the UK vs. Australia.
The series has been dubbed The Smashes – A play on the 130 year old cricket rivalry.
When announced the range of applicants for the show was set for fighters between 135 and 170.
The UFC has now decided on two weight classes that the show will be contested. The Smashes will feature welterweights (170 pounds) and lightweights (155 pounds), The news comes from Marshall Zelaznik, the UFC’s director of international development.

I will not be watching.
I have zero interest in any British or Australian fighter, and again Lightweighs and WWs?? I think most of the seasons have had LWs.

KING OF ROCK AND RUMBLE!!! lol well idk could be dan hardy for the uk but idk for a aussie fighter, only guy i can think of around that weight is the croc hunters body guard guy. idk tho

The only complete season I have watched is TUF 10 and now I watch TUF Brazil | Okay Pashak I don't want to get all preachy, but were you kidding. They just went to a live format??????

it's a reality show based on fighting. the cast fight each other. pretty simple (and successful) format. when you get 16 guys in a house with no tv or internet for 3 months (basically a jail bit), there's only so many things you can do so the in-house stuff is bound to be similar, but who cares? i watch for the fights.

The Ultimate Fighter hasnt been very entertaining for quite awhile now... That show definitely needs an overhaul, but alot of people watch still so I guess some like it.
