He beat Hoost......twice. What have you done lately?
While I agree that beating Hoost, twice nonetheless is an impressive feat, I'd caution that Sapp caught Hoost on the tail end of his career, when he was nowhere near the peak level he was in the 1990s. I'd also take issue with the Sapp's physical state in those fights, as it was largely "enhanced", which knocks it down a peg from Hoost`s prime era losses to fighters like Cikatic, Kamen, Hug, Aerts or Le Banner, as I believe the majority of Sapp's success was derrived from his overwhelming size and power, which came from a needle.
I'd compare Sapp's wins over Hoost to be somewhat akin to say, Kos's over Hughes in MMA.

Who fucking cares that Sapp beat Hoost a decade ago. The whole point of this conversation is not what he did at that time, but it's about what he has been doing lately, i.e. Sapp blatantly throwing fights and he came up with the most garbage excuses when Ariel called him out.
Sapp isn't funny at all... His insults don't even make any sense. The truth is, if Sapp keeps performing like this, people are going to stop paying to see him fight, and the moneys going to dry up.
How many times does he need to do it?
Performing? Yes, he is performing, he is performing an "act' as in he is acting like he is going to fight, then he just falls down and taps out.
I can't believe they are actually counting his fights as legit mma fights anymore?

NO I just find it funny that people come out and rag Ariel for saying whatever it is he says against men stepping in to a cage to punch and kick each other's faces off while they do the same thing from the comfort of their living rooms.
An orange is an orange even if you paint it yellow.

imo ariel had every right to call out sapp for the way hes been going about his "fights" lately. if sapp was insulted by any of this perhaps he should pay attention as to why its been brought up in the first place
Ariel crossed the line and made it personal. It's a punk move to talk shit to a 250+ lb fighter, saying you could beat him in a fight, when you know it would never happen.....well maybe in Japan, but the point is that Ariel would never actaully fight Bob Sapp. And if I'm not mistaken, isn't Ariel supposed to be a "journalist" his behavior was unprofessional and Juvenal. Dana White covers that very well Ariel, he doesn't need your help. There are many more sophisticated ways to get your point across rather than puting yourself in a fighter's place. That is not Ariel's place and should have known better....this reminds me of a WWF moment, back when Pro Wrestling was actually pretty fucking fun to watch......
.......This was just a fake ass whopping Ariel....Bob Sapp would probably re-inact a scene from OZ...Peaches for dinner Ariel...
