Normally I enjoy it when Ariel gets taken down a peg or two but still...
Dancing, mocking and making funny faces on camera doesnt change the fact that you go into a fight already knowing that unless the guy some how injures himself, your losing. Thats fucked up. Show up to win, at least fucking try to beat some of these guys! You whore yourself out for money and give away fights. You are the ass tumor of MMA with a dumb ass laugh and ever worse everything. Get out of the business and fuck yourself.

I hear what Sapp is saying, in a sense that you need to get paid, but like Ariel said, why not just go to pro wrestling as oppose to hurt the credibility of MMA

Sapp isn't funny at all... His insults don't even make any sense. The truth is, if Sapp keeps performing like this, people are going to stop paying to see him fight, and the moneys going to dry up.

Maybe he should channel some of this energy towards actually fighting.

I couldn't bare to watch all of it but I will say one thing: The things Ariel has said to and about Bob Sapp are disrespectful and often absurd. I give him points for actually saying them TO Sapp; albeit over the phone. Helwani has never stepped in the ring/cage with the likes of Minowaman, Sokoudjou, a prime CroCop, Nogueira, LeBanner, Hoost (and BEAT HIM IN KB), etc.

I'll be the first to admit that Sapp does the sport a disservice by half-assing fights but no more than Helwani does by disrespecting fighters and flapping his gums at ELITE ATHLETES who show more heart, determination and courage in 5 minutes of training than he has in his whole life.

People WANT to see the brutish giant beaten by the superior technique of a smaller man. Therefore, Sapp will always sell tickets...especially in Japan.

I'm going to take my time and tear this shit down because I fucking cannot stand Bob Sapp, I DO NOT consider this fighter bashing because Bob Sapp is not a legitimate fighter.

First off, the uneducated production staff seems to think Ariel is of Latin decent with the intro music and pronounciation of his name. WRONG! Ariel is Jewish of Lebanese and Egyptian parents and was raised here in Canada.

Also, Sapp is so dilluted that he doesn't realize that by using the MMA Hour footage, he's reairing the legitimate gripes people have with him, flaunting his complete disregard for the root of this matter.

If Bob gave half a shit about fighting as he does about Ariel, maybe he'd fucking win once, but again, he has zero intent to go out there and even look to fight.

I find it beyond amusing that Sapp actually mocks fighters who talk about fighting their best/hardest and striving the be the best and defending titles with honor....the fact that this is a joke to him is why I plead with EVERY legitmate MMA fan to boycott his fights....he does not care about fighting.

His constant referrence to ego is another example of his complete inability to recognize his own bullshit and exemplifies just how un-self aware he is, because this ENTIRE VIDEO is a strokejob to Sapp's ego after he rightfully got called out by Ariel.

It also looks like Sapp needs to get back on the HGH and various supplements, he's starting to sag a bit and if he loses his look, he loses his only marketable facet at that point.

Jeez, the reason Ariel is using Wikipedia here is because it's the only place that will cover Sapp at this point, you know, because MMA sites and records don't give a fuck about him.

The only person who got BAD PRESS off of this entire schmoz is Sapp. He looked TERRIBLE in the MMA Hour show and this just highlights and emphasizes why Sapp is soooo full of shit. True, Ariel may be a bit of a chickenshit, but everybody thinks what Sapp's doing is a farce, so he called him on it. Disrespectful? I'd hazard that Sapp would have to earn respect and doesn't have anybody's in the first place, so I think this whole thing was fair game, especially with Sapp using his kayfabe schtick throughout most of the original interview with the belly laughs etc.

Bob Sapp ACTUALLY puts weight in the SUPER HULK tourney "championship", the one that had the likes of himself and Jose Canseco in it???? Yeah, MAJOR championship lol. And to that point, if Bob Sapp thinks titles are all about EGOS and hollow pride, why the heck is he using that he lost to a CHAMPION as part of a defense on his record? Minowaman fights his heart and soul out EVERY FIGHT, Bob Sapp is not only disrespecting him with most of his comments(although the Super Hulk Tourney was beyond ridiculous), but he forgets that he's basically saying that titles are for marks who risk their body far too much......what a croc.

I wonder if Bob was at all concered about the copywrite issues that may follow using MJ and the Apprentice theme song?

As far as hearing a bunch of people saying that they "CARE" about Bushido Vol 58, Ariel's comment wasn't that nobody cares about the fighers, but rather that it's such an uncovered, unadvertised card, that Sapp's flying in there to make probably more than everybody else on the card combined, WILL LOSE and the only mark it will ever have on history is in lol, Wikipedia....

I honestly give Ariel a hardtime alot of the time, but he gets major ups in my eyes for calling Sapp out and THIS BS that Sapp has returned is disgustingly terrible, pointless, NOT FUNNY and as said above, will probably have a running time that'll go longer than all of his fights combined.

I can think of ALOT of older, past their prime MMA fighters who could probably get a nice payday based off of their famous name such as Ken Shamrock, Don Frye, Dan Severn, Tank, Kimo, Randleman etc and fight on these younger cards.....however I believe that all of those fighters would at least go into the fight TO WIN, because they have an ounce of pride and respect for themselves and aren't content to just have their name on the marquee only to put on a DREADFUL, SORRY EXCUSE for an MMA fight. Sapp is 100% on point about TBI and that these fighters put themselves at risk of longterm injury, but they aren't forced to fight and have a fighters mentality to at least, put in a solid showing....

Sapp is a joke. I do not consider this fighter bashing he's a mercenary, money hungry failed NFL football player whose steroid addled personna made him a celebrity in Japan and he's ran it to the hilt. I do not consider Sapp a fighter because he all but admits that he isn't going into these cards to actually fight, he doesn't appear to train MMA, he doesn't want to take even the most REMOTE damage or even attempt to battle his way out(let alone attempt to garner some superior position and you know, show some offense) and doesn't seem to give a shit about how badly he makes MMA look. The James Thompson takedown tap was the worst of all, I really cannot stomach Bob Sapp. He's lower than Noob-jack, I just want to see him go away and be a bad actor in B-movies.
