UFC on FX 3 weigh-in results: Tourney fighters Johnson (125), McCall (126) on weight | MMAjunkie.com

SUNRISE, Fla. – MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) was on scene and reporting live from today's UFC on FX 3 fighter weigh-ins, where all 24 competitors successfully made weight.

Today's festivities took place at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla. – the same venue that hosts Friday's event.

Despite all fighters making weight, it was anything but a smooth process at today's weigh-ins.

A commission representative announced weights on multiple occasions only to correct them seconds later. At one point, the rep announced Tim Means as weighing 158 pounds. Seconds later, despite Means not moving on the scale, he was announced as weighing 155.5 pounds.

Headliners Demetrious Johnson (125 pounds) and Ian McCall (126), who recently fought to a majority draw and now fight again in an opening-round matchup of the four-man flyweight tournament, thankfully made weight without issue.

The full UFC on FX 3 weigh-in results included:

McCall posted last night after the weigh in's that he is at 150.5 now. Hope it was a joke because if he is fighting 2 classes heavier, then even a win doesnt mean much imo

Well, if that's the case there are a lot of guys out there with wins that don't mean much in your eyes.

McCall is definitely not the only guy who is about 2 weight classes above the day of the fight. Especially in the lower classes where the divisions are only separated by 10 lbs.

Not saying I am for or against it, but the reality is that it's probably pretty common

Very true.

What doesnt sit well with me is that he talks alot about how much of a bad ass he is, and that he beat DJ the last fight(i agree with him on that), but then when you outweigh your opponent by almost 30lbs, to me thats not much of an accomplishment, and im a big Uncle Creepy fan.

I know fighters have always done it, and always will do it, and its something i got used to as part of the sport of MMA, but certain people it bothers me more than others.
