Share on facebook_likeCHICAGO, Ill. (June 8, 2012) — The Bellator Heavyweight roster continues to grow as the promotion announced today the signing of Ryan Martinez. The Infinite MMA product joins Bellator with a dominating 7-1 record, including an impressive victory over former two-time NCAA heavyweight champion Mark Ellis. Martinez will debut with Bellator on August 24 against a soon to be named opponent.
“The second I heard Bellator had interest in bringing me over, I thought the move was a no-brainer, so everything came together pretty quickly,” said Martinez. “Bellator without a doubt in my mind has the hungriest and most exciting fighters in this sport, and I want to be a part of that.”
