That insurance policy has got to change.

This will continue to happen....

Bibiano has declined to sign with the UFC once before and I believe it had to do with his BJJ obligations. I believe he is a fulltime BJJ instructor and participates in many BJJ tourneys and signing with the UFC would have not given him time to fulfill those goals.

UPDATE: According to MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani, Bibiano was offered a better deal by the Singapore-based One FC than he was by the UFC.
Sounds like he's chasing paper instead of titles.

Which is good, but only in the short term. The UFC weighs risk vs. reward when signing a new fighter. If you bring PPV numbers in then your going to get a better contract, if your unknown you cant expect a big starting contract. Have faith in your abilities and know that your going to win fights and raise your own stock. Bibiano is unknown to most MMA fans, so I don't know what he could of been expecting in terms of a contract.

Yeah I found this out last night but it said it was just a *strong rumor, so I didn't bother to post it.

He needs to get healthy, I'm interested to see what kind of impact he can have on the 135 pound division...I doubt he can become champ but a Faber rematch would be cool, and certainly some other fights...

I dont think its an issue of insurance as much as people think. I think guys who are not using TRT or any other of that shit have to train twice as hard and are at a much higher risk of injury than those using.

Someone should make a documentary about it. Athletes on TRT Vs athletes without it. Then we will be able to see how much of a difference it actually makes.
