WAR OVEREEM, UFC HW CHAMP 2013. |
Because Overeems skills and attributes are part of the game. JDS has weapons as well, its only fair, but to have elevated levels of testosterone is not fair.
lol JDS is scared because he doesnt want AO to have an unfair advantage. He wants a guy to get thoroughly tested who tried to cheat when they were first scheduled to fight. "JDS is asking for too much... he is scurred"...
nobody would ever claim that PEDs alone will win fights, games, etc. but at the highest levels, any advantage can be the difference. No one is saying AO isnt a highly skilled fighter... he just needs to play by the rules. Maybe he can beat JDS without whatever he was using.... We dont know, but we deserve that answer... not JDS vs. a roided up reem.

If someone has a history with PEDs... Sonnen, AO, Barnett, etc. That situation should be treated differently. I wish they would not be able to get exemptions and be given the benefit of the doubt that they will use it properly and not abuse it... but at the very least they need to be monitored more throughout the camp.
The thing about TRT as it sits is that if you show up fight time with good levels you are good to go, even if you had abused it during your camp where all the work is done.
I do like that they popped AO with a random test. They need do those more, and at less obvious times such as when the fighters are in town for the press events. Also make them less random for past offenders...
