Does this mean Mousasi get the title by default?

| Strikeforce's Rafael 'Feijao' Cavalcante positive for stanozolol, appeal filed Strikeforce's Rafael 'Feijao' Cavalcante positive for stanozolol, appeal filed Quote:
Former Strikeforce light-heavyweight champion Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante's recent failed drug test was due to stanozolol metabolites.
As MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) reported Saturday, the Brazilian fighter failed a test following his May win over Mike Kyle. On Monday the California State Athletic Commisssion confirmed the substance.
The CSAC on Monday also said that in addition to Cavalcante's yearlong suspension and $2,500 fine, his win over Kyle will be overturned and changed to a no-contest.
The bout took place at "Strikeforce: Heavyweight Grand Prix Final," which took place May 19 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.

Mousasi recently resigned with Strikefarce and has 7 fights left with them. So... we won't see him in the UFC in for a long while.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

Manager: Rafael Cavalcante to appeal suspension after positive test for stanozolol http://www.mmamania.com/2012/6/19/30...ol-strikeforce Quote:
Appearing on the most recent edition of "The MMA Hour," Ed Soares, Cavalcante's manager, stopped by to talk about the situation surrounding his client, saying that they already have a legal team in place to file an appeal.
Check it out: Quote: |
"Today they are going to be opening, supposedly, the second jar or whatever. Like I said, I am very green to this area, I've never had any of our athletes test positive and this is a new routine for me. So this is a new situation for me and I am kind of taking it day by day, but yes we are appealing. He told me that he didn't (take anything illegal), I believe Feijao and he has no reason to lie to me, so I believe his innocence, yes. They mentioned it to me (what he tested positive for) in the letter, I am just so ignorant when it comes to steroids, ped's and all that stuff. I really don't know what it is. I just put it in our attorneys hands. Out attorney went out and searched out an attorney that is very familiar with these types of cases and that's where we are going forward with that."

Am I the only one who feels this way? | Some people became obsessed with him after certain people like Fedorlei showered him with love.
I don't know why there is absolutely no love for Gunnar Nelson on this forum yet people cling from Mousasi's balls.

IMO, Nelson at the moment is merely at the "high caliber" prospect level, just....give it a year or so, the fact that he's taken two fairly major hiatuses in his young career so far has hindered alot of his hypetrain.
While the Fadiora win for BAMMA a while ago was impressive, he also suffers from what alot of talented European fighters do, in that they often fight on under-covered, under-publicized cards in Europe that just fly under the radar, whereas say if they were fighting in Japan or Brazil, they'd get a little more attention from the MMA media. I can't tell you how many times that I find out that a fighter I've been following in Europe has fought over the weekend or weeks later, by casually trolling sites looking for their next bouts. Aside from KSW, BAMMA & Cage Warriors, I can't think of too many promotions in Europe that have much publicity....
As for Mousasi, he's my favourite LHW next to Glover and if he shores up his suspect TDD, he could very well be unbeatable(well, maybe outside of Jones...). That said, Mousasi has a ridiculous upside: At nearly 27 years of age he's got some of the best pure overall striking in MMA (straight boxing and kickboxing are out of this world), he's a judoka blackbelt with a beautful submission and bottom game(something I think did him a disservice in the King Mo bout), and an astounding 28 finishes by way of TKO or Submission out of 32 wins over names like Babalu, Jacare, Hunt, a surging Kang, Manhoef and two great Japanese talents in Izumi and Mizuno among many others. Mousasi's maturing, evolving and just starting to come into his prime, now that Feijao is busted, the SF LHW division is basically just Mousasi.
