Chuck pales in comparison to Shogun and Shoguns accomplishments.

Shogun fought the best at all times. Chuck tried doing that but got knocked out in 2003 then oddley his reign started until again he got knocked out when the UFC aquired the pride fighters. Shogun was supposed to lose to Chuck but Shogun destroyed Chuck as if Chuck was an amatuer striker.

Sorry Chuck Shogun has been in the more dangerous division and the most stacked divisions since 2003. Youve been only doing that for 5 years or less.

Shogun became the #1 arguably next to Wandy by winning the most stacked tournament in the deepest LHW division then he went onto to the biggest title of the current generation the UFC LHW belt.

UFC LHW belt back when Pride was around was equal to the SF LHW belt now

Boo Chuck, sounds like sour grapes. Nobody will probably match the Spider's reign at the top for six years, but that doesn't mean Shogun isn't one of the all time greats.

Everybody hating on Chuck like he actually said "I was a greater fighter then Shogun". All he said was Shogun isn't as great of a fighter as Anderson Silva. And does anybody disagree with that?

Really that's all I got from it too. Shogun is great but not as good as your gsp's or Anderson Silvas of the world.

Coming from a fighter who went 5 losses in his last 6 fights, 4 of which came by brutal KO, who was more or less forcibly put out to pasture by Dana so he wouldn't tarnish his legacy or straight-up get permanent brain damage, I don't really think Chuck is one to throw stones.

Coming from a fighter whose kempo eye poke was blatantly ignored by officials in MANY of his great performances due to his stature and importance in the business as it was growing, I don't think Chuck is one to throw stones.

Coming from a fighter who probably could've been a helluva lot GREATER than he himself was(maybe even the legitimate GREATEST) had he not preferred living life in the fastlane and partying hard instead of being fully committed to his craft of being the BEST, I don't think Chuck is one to throw stones.

Chuck Liddell was an amazing fighter, but he's full of shit here.

Not to shut down Liddell, but he's way off on this.

Shogun's accomplishments > Most...including Liddell's. Keeping it very real. Liddell is an icon in the sport. More so than Shogun will be. But to say Shogun isn't amongst the greats...I dunno about that.

Of course Shogun isn't Anderson. He could have been, but he isn't. Very few people will have that dominance under their belts. Anderson, Fedor, GSP and maybe Penn (and that's a big maybe)...that's about it in the 15 or so years of MMA.
