Given how lowkey every non-UFC fight promotion is, and given how they don't really have the budget and/or marketing power to hype the fight to the mainstream, I don't think there's a promotion that could afford to pay for a Brock v. Fedor fight; the payoff just wouldn't be there.

But, maybe M-1 and some European promotions are bigger than I give them credit for. Maybe they do pull in some buys / gate / viewers.

Even if the UFC were to sign it--and I just can't see them doing it--I don't think it would be that big. Zuffa's constant systematic attacks on Fedor have devalued him for their casual fans, I don't think they'd be able to turn it around, short of dana explaining that he's actually been a whiney, spoiled douche for the last 5 years, and has been lying about Fedor the whole time. And I don't think dana even realizes that he's been a lying spoiled douche, so that's not going to happen.

Very good point RH and I do agree there in the bold part. But with the potential money this fight could make, I could actually see Dana pulling a "Kimbo" on Fedor and doing a total 180 to sell this fight and say how honored the UFC is to have Fedor

I honestly think that Fedor and company are positioning themselves to get Viacom to bite with a bigger offer when they debut Bellator on SPIKE TV.

Given what Showtime said about relations with ZUFFA, if it's true a suggestion of Fedor to comeback to fight either Cormier or Barnett isn't out of the realm.

No because first of all Brock is not the super monster that many people thought he was. So even if Fedor fights and beats Lesnar, his haters would be saying that 3 fighters already owned Lesnar in the UFC and that he was nothing special.
And anyway why should anyone prove something to those fucktards? Even if Fedor fights and beats JDS they will still find some excuse to bash Fedor, so fuck them, let them live in their Zuffaland.

I would have been shocked to hear that Fedor would never fight in the UFC, after the Pride purchase... but now it seems impossible.... with all of the personalitys involved...

Im sure he would. Dana would promote anyone, as long as it brought him $.
