I dont know about lil nog being technically superior from a pure striking standpoint.. Boxing wise, nog is better, but forrest has a much more complete striking game then nog. One of the things forrest has always done well is throw punch and kick combos. He's already had great success with it against a superior boxer(page).

Bader would most likely also get picked apart, barring a big shot, or some real solid ground and pound..

Id say 3-3 against that group.. 2-4 being more likely if bader is having an on night.

Edit: on topic, forrest should fight tito, and then have one more go with bonnar as coaches on TUF, then retire.

i can see him fighting 5-6 more times and retiring sometime in the next two years... either way he is going on his own terms he can go 0-5 in his next five and dana will still probably support whatever decision he will make

I’m still, I’d say, one of the Top 25 guys in the world at 205 pounds; problem is I keep fighting the top 5-to-10 guys in the world.

Griffin lost that fire after the Jackson win, people in his camp were saying that Forrest changed after that. Like he resented the attention and pressure he got as a champion, and the chase for the belt really brought the best out in him. The Evans fight just kinda sealed the deal for Griffin I guess, he was doing real well before the TD too in that fight. He didn't seem bummed to lose that much, just mocked his own "lazy guard".

A mental work ethic, injuries, and a mental weakness and lack of belief in himself really isn't doing him any favours. Sucks as he's my favourite fighter
