the math teacher would beat sonnen. i mean, i know sonnen looks great lately but franklin is pretty damn good himself as well.

when sonnen loses, i think he fights high profile fights at mw and maybe one or 2 fights at lhw.

Honestly I think Munoz and Weidman get lit up by Silva. They just do not have the in your face straight attacked wrestling style that gives Silva troubles (Lutter, Hendo and Sonnen). Munoz's MMA wrestling would need to improve leaps and bounds to have a shot with Silva.

Both fights would be great, and definitely in Chael's future, if he loses (assuming he doesn't retire, if he does.) Both would be good for Chael's trash talking style promotion, as well as for competitiveness. I could see either scenario, win or loss, against either opponent. Honestly, I think you hit the nail on the head with these 2 potential fights.

But realistically, I'm not sure I really see Sonnen mentally being able to compete much longer, if he loses. Knowing that he beat the "best fighter in the world" for roughly 4 and a half rounds, and then only to lose to him the 2nd time around, will have to damage his psyche in some way. *I'm still pissed I went for a cigarette break before the last round was over, ultimately missing Silva winning the fight* Of course, this all assuming Sonnen does in fact lose.

Reason I enjoy Chael's schtick is that it refined Koscheck's moronic antics in a more hilarious fashion. I am truly intrigued at to what epiphany brought Chael into changing his public image. Has anyone read the man's book? Did it mention what caused him to start acting this way? I have not ever seen him answer the question seriously in an interview.

I know many people hate him for his fighting style but I enjoy that style, much like I enjoy Fitch's. For some reason I cannot stand Jake Shields after his fight with Mayhem. I don't know why but I can't stand him.
