I thought it was clear he was just down playing the short grab to not make any excuses. I really don't think he did, and if he did it would have been for the slightest of seconds.

I don't understand why the short grabbing or small amount of vaseline that was immediately removed is a big deal. This is a fight, and while I'm not really part of the Just Bleed cult, I also don't think there is any need for people to focus on these tiny actions that are technically against the rules. Every fight card you see a ton of guys grab the fence, grab shorts, poke people in the eye and whatnot, it happens and its not a big deal. The refs have enough of an impact on the fights already, we don't need them jumping in every time someone grabs someone's shorts.

I think whoever gets out of the Kennedy/Rockhold battle is arguably one of the top challengers for Anderson, far ahead of most of the UFC MW contenders(however the matchup is unlikely since they're in SF). Especially if Rockhold can get a decisive win over Kennedy, I think he's the most deserving MW challenger unless they want to go to Rashad getting the shot.
