He's 50/50 on this or better, and he hasn't even done a practise cut?
Damn he's optimistic.

Evans is about the same size as Sonnen, Okami, or Silva, he should be able to make 185 if he cuts properly. Could he beat any of those guys? Would be cool to see.

Kind of baffles my mind that this guy at one point was an undefeated HW. I think he could make 185 rather easily and be a force down there. Have him cut down to MW fight Belfort and winner gets a shot at the Weidman/Silva winner.

IMO, striker vs grappler matchups tend to be quite boring

50/50 to middleweight means he is fighting Rich Franklin at 195.

I think it will take that kind of fighter to dethrone Silva (if it can be done). Someone's going to have to be able to weather that storm of striking long enough each round to plant him on his back. | Agree, I am not sure if Rashad can beat Anderson though Quote:

Rasad would most likly (if he is smart anyway) Put Vitor on his back and keep him there for 3 rds

But I dont think Rich wants to be the catch weight guy, he is getting up in age and wants the one last run at gold.

I'd still like to see him and Vitor fight at 190-195 but many folks disagreed so screw them

Rashad is a very smart guy and won't approach a cut stupidly. He's always appeared as though he COULD make the cut down and if he does it and feels good, Rashad/Anderson is cash MONEY!

Plus I think Weidman is getting the next title shot for a few reasons.
1. He is more marketable then any current contender outside of Bisping
2. He has two wins in a row over Top 10 MWs.
3. The timeline matches up the best. Him and Silva are both fresh and could probably fight by October or early November. So let them fight and give the division time to clear out.
