Does it really matter if he was asked? We don't live in a speak when spoken to world. If you have an opinion you are allowed to voice it. Its really alot more about what is said than who brought it up.

The problem I have with Page now days is he hasn't backed up much of what he has said, and when he failed to he just made excusses. Sonnen didn't back up his smack this time either, but he's not trying to hide behind a excuss. He admitted mistakes and defeat to Silva.
Ever since Page fired his coach/mannager and tried to due more on his own he went down hill.

In this context to me it does. Page was minding his own business probably not even thinking about Sonnen until questioned by the reporter. He gave an honest answer and as usual some people got bent out of shape as if he went out of his way to personally seek out and attack Sonnen.

I don't have any problems with Page infact I wish the man much success in his future endeavors.

Most likely it was an odd reply for Rampage rather than a planned public announcement.

Sonnen replied to it in a comedic sense, so I can't help but laugh at the media exposure.
