"FWIW - Boetsch broke his foot in the 2nd round, per UFC," Helwani posted on Twitter.

Boetsch was awarded a split decision victory against Lombard, who recently signed with the UFC. Boetsch has now won each of his last four UFC fights, improving to 16-5 in his career.

If anything it didn't show, you could tell he respected Lombards power and wanted him to engage more but I'd like to find out what was up with Lombards performance !?!

even if the decision was questionable, I still have a lot of respect for Boetsch especially with a broken foot. It's more of a disappointment for me in terms of the fact Lombard didn't deliver. I know Boetsch is a beast but for Lombard to come from being this MMA wrecking ball to the fighter we saw at 149? Big disappointment.
