Default Tim Boetsch Suffers 2nd Round Broken Foot (Spoiler)

Broken Foot Didn't Keep Tim Boetsch From Defeating Hector Lombard

Quote:
Ariel Helwani, a reporter for FUEL TV, confirmed that Tim Boetsch suffered a broken foot during the second round of his victory in the co-main event over Hector Lombard Saturday night. The contest took part on the UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao card from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

"FWIW - Boetsch broke his foot in the 2nd round, per UFC," Helwani posted on Twitter.

Boetsch was awarded a split decision victory against Lombard, who recently signed with the UFC. Boetsch has now won each of his last four UFC fights, improving to 16-5 in his career.

If anything it didn't show, you could tell he respected Lombards power and wanted him to engage more but I'd like to find out what was up with Lombards performance !?!

even if the decision was questionable, I still have a lot of respect for Boetsch especially with a broken foot. It's more of a disappointment for me in terms of the fact Lombard didn't deliver. I know Boetsch is a beast but for Lombard to come from being this MMA wrecking ball to the fighter we saw at 149? Big disappointment.

Most of these over hyped cats come in to the UFC and have a shitty debut. Its business as usual.

Add to Roaddawg the UFC's hype machine specially being a co main event easily could of effected him. Give him a nother fight or two before we throw him to the curb yet.

Funny how Joe Rogan said how experienced Lombard was and how this psychological shit wouldn't play into the cards.

I think it might be a case of being severely overrated.
