A fight with Belfort would not go good for Belcher...
His kickboxing style could be interesting to see against Vitor, but I dont see him being able to deal with Vitor's speed and boxing... Alan is trained by Rufas... but Vitor is also trained by Mo, im sure they will be training for what Alan brings to the table...

I think I called for Belfort/Belcher in Brazil after 149

I'd say the winner would be on the door step of a title shot.

Although we all know Vitor can put anybody out, I feel like Belcher still has a pretty good chance of taking this. He's young, fast, athletic, very well rounded and a smart fighter on top of that. Belcher is hungry for that belt and I think he has the means to at least get a shot at it.

Belcher's manager, Malki Kawa tweeted, "If @vitorbelfort doesn't take the fight w @alanbelcherufc then these top 10 guys are full of it... #belcher4champ #stopducking".
So with that and given Alan's tweet about Brazil from earlier, it kinda sounds like that's the fight either Alan or the UFC wants and maybe Vitor has been offered it and it's going down the pipe shortly.
It has long been my stance that Alan is one of the most well rounded MWs in the division and is a supreme threat because he doesn't carry the same name recognition as his contemporaries. I think he simply outworks Vitor en route to a very convincing victory.

I would love to see Belcher vs Vitor..Belcher showed me something when he went to the ground against Pallhares and didnt get subed like everyone else does. I think Belcher is very underrated and this might be the fight he needs to show everyone

UFC 160:Antarctica?
Deffinetly seems like Vitor/Belcher would be the smart bet. Another two top MW contenders, I love the match up, Make it happen Joe!
Seems like alot of people are counting Belcher out here, not me. Vitor no doubt has THE fastest hands at MW besides Silva.. but besides that hes pretty much a one dimensional fighter.
Belcher will have the wrestling and JJ edge imo, And deffinetly has the better kicks. If Belcher wants to stand right in front of Vitor flat footed, well then yeah hes going to sleep.
But I think Belcher survives the initial onslaught and starts to work Vitor to a 3Rd Decision with crisp counter striking and takedowns...Much like I thought Franklin was going to do lol.

“The Phenom” has apparently healed, because immediately following Hector Lombard’s disappointing big league debut on Saturday, he tweeted that he was ready to resume his accomplished career.
“Let’s see what @danawhite will decide on the middleweight I am waiting for my next challenge I will start training on Monday,” Belfort wrote.
