I think Nate Diaz is rightfully deserving of the #1 Contendership.

Pettis is up there, but wins over Lauzon and Stephens only put him "in the mix". Cerrone, Jim Miller or Maynard are all great matchups IMO.

I say give him Maynard, there was some trash talk between the two for a little while. If he can beat Maynard then he has earned a title shot, if not then he can go back to the middle of the pack.

I think the UFC is going to wait and see what happens between Ben and Frankie. With so many immediate rematches lately, they'll probably avoid putting Maynard in a #1 contender matchup next if Frankie wins the belt back. If Frankie wins, we'll likely see Pettis vs. Cerrone if Donald beats Guillard. If Bendo wins, expect Pettis/Maynard.
