I dunno why anyone is putting an legitamcy in these statements
Shogun and Machida both lost their last fights
Vera has one win in like 3 years
Based on recent history, if he were to win, Bader would actually be the most deserving (3 straight wins including Rampage/Machida)
Really can't see anyone being guaranteed a title shot at the post fight presser Saturday night, but I guess I could be wrong
I think the most likely scenario after Saturday would be Shogun/Machida TUF Brazil

Sure, if someone get a spectacular win and the hype builds they (Machida or Shogun) could get the next shot but no way Vera or Bader get it.

bader is the closest to earning it of the four.
glover is in a better position than goose. at least he has a fight scheduled against a top 10 guy.
you'd never guess that listening to dana or the media...

A fight between two men who were brutally TKO'd by Jon Jones, preceded by a fight between two men who nearly had their heads pulled off by Jon Jones.
Shogun is coming off a loss and is 1-2 in his last 3. Machida is coming off a loss and is 1-3 in his last 4 (1-4 in his last 5 if you ask me, though no one did). Vera's situation goes without mentioning. Not that I want to see Bader fight Jones again, but he has the most momentum coming into this event and would be a legitimate choice, as far as standings go, for a title shot.
I feel as if the UFC is doing everything they can to prolong Bones' tenure at LHW and keep him from moving up to HW earlier than they would like.

At BEST the winners should have to face each other to decide a contender. No way any of the four will deserve a shot regardless of this weekend's outcome. Maybe if one of them had taken jones to a competitive dec. I could see an arguement , but he put a fairly convincing stamp on all four .

even if it makes sense, i hate when people complain about who they have to fight or might have to fight. normally i dont have as much of an issue with jones as it seems everyone does, but him "scratching his head" irritated me. i mean yes the comment makes sense but at the same time its like he never got anything that he didnt deserve. idk JUST STOP COMPLAINING !!!!! |

While I think this is bullshit that more than likely that Shogun or Machida get the next crack at Jones, those are both rematches I would like to see regardless. So once Jones disposes of one of them again, it will then be time for Gus or GLover to get their shot and thats where it will get real interesting

Shogun and Machida are currently on a combined 1 fight win streak so thats pretty dumb. Bader has the beset case for a title shot if he wins. It will be a 3 fight streak with wins over Brilz, Rampage and Machida. The only guy that will be deserving isnt really getting mentioned. Pretty standard for UFC #1 contender bouts. | Hey buddy this is not Bellator where title shots are earned it's the god dam UFC where they give title shot's to the guys who can sell the most PPV.
