not sure how wiedman/rashad would be but i think evans would beat sonnen. sonnen had problems with bisping and he is a piss poor wrestler. he has decent TDD but couldnt wrestle his way out of a paper bag. rashad/silva excites me and makes me nervous at the same time. perhaps we will see evans at 185 before years end?

What we need to see is:
He who must not be named vs Weidman.
Rashaad vs Botesch for next-ies.
Chael vs Vitor for a backup plan if someone gets hurt.
Odds are, Rashaad would clean up Sonnen.. Usually when two solid grapplers fight, the striking comes out to play, and I dont think there's many people who would argue over who is the better striker of the two.
Rashaad vs Weidman would be a great fight, but Weidman has earned his shot, regardless of what Ed Sore-ass has to say.

Would great fights but weidman deserves his shot. I really don't like Rashad moving down a weight after losing to Jones by decision (especially being the first person to take Jones to the 5th). He definitely has the tools to beat Silva too but he also has the tools to beat Jones, I'd rather see the latter. IMO he choked in the Jones fight, he never really mixed some takedown attempts or anything.
Anyway, my point is he's easily top 3 at lhw so why move unless its for a big fight?

Apparently, Chael is going to be blown through by Rashad? I'll take that bet anyday. I think that may be one of the most interesting fights I have heard of in a long time, as I am a huge fan of both. I also said that Rashad would beat Jones and Chael would beat Silva, so I haven't had much to be happy about lately haha. I'd rather see Weidman vs. Rashad personally, because then I wouldn't have to see two of my favorites go at it, but I would not mind at all if this matchup happened.

Sometimes, dana doesn't follow through with his statements. Sometimes, he changes his stance on topics entirely. If sonnen/Evans generates more interest, he'll do that, for sure. Because down here in the land of capitalism, interest = money. Quote:

Dont put weidman vs. Rashad, they should both get a shot at AS, it would eliminate a contender... Considering Anderson's age. | Agreed, 100%. Quote:

I'dove to see Rashad at MW & I think a fight w/Chael would be great.
Selfishly I'd like Rashad to take out Weidman & fight Silva because they are both fights I believe he can win.

So is everyone sold on Weidman now? He looked great against Munoz, but idk he looked pretty shitty against Maia, and he's never shown good cardio. Can chalk it up to not getting full training camps, but until he proves otherwise it's still a big question mark.
I just see so many guys who get labeled as the next big thing after 1 good fight, then they fall flat. Only guy who has lived up to it so far has been Jones.

Boetch has 2 big wins over Okami and Lombard, but he gets absolutely rolled by rashad... Boetch doesnt really pass the eye test like someone like Weidman, or even Belcher to a lesser extent...
Also a better name for Anderson would be the goat, the greatest, the best, etc...
