Wow Machida looked very good. I agree that he is the right choice to fight for the title.
Bader had nothing to do there, looked like he simply did not know what to do. Everytime he tried to attack, Machida countered him perfectly.
Great fight by Lyoto, and it was fun watching all those arm movements he was doing. You can tell he trains with Anderson LOL
About Shogun. He looked Okay but what has happened with his cardio? He was already tired in round 2. Skillwise, he is much better than Vera. Although Vera showed a very very good standup. But damn, Shogun gassed and instead of finishing the fight in the second round, he finished it in the 4th.
I do not know if he has not been training as hard as before, I do not think that age is catching up with him. He is just 30. But this is not the first time that he has troubles with his stamina.
It did not looked that he spent so much energy in the first round to look that tired in the second one.
Props to Vera because he looked better than I expected, if he had a good ground game, he would definitely be a force. But it looks that his ground game is very weak.
I guess he will face the loser of Hendo/Jones. But judging by how he looked today, he will lose again to either of them.
