Dont pay to watch something you might not like? Thanks for the tip captain obvious. I thinkn the Total Recall remake will be mediocre at best so IF I watch it i will take the cheapest option available. redbox or wait till a friend rents/buys it.

Yep Dana's all about the fans! I feel like he tries harder to get new fans into the sport than doing stuff for the old/hardcore fans.

No kidding, in fact it seems like he hates old/hardcore fans, always trying to question his decisions and such. The statement alone is absurd for him to make, I don't agree at all with the decision to have Machida fight for title, but I sure as well will watch it. But if I listen to him I shouldn't????

Even if Dana doesn't feel like or can't justify it to himself he is still obligated as part of his job to try and convince people the product is worth buying.

As the purchaser do you reallly need to be told if you don't like what is being sold you don't have to buy it.
When to product is as good as the UFC's it tends to sell it self.

Oh and just wait till two months before the fight because this will (once again) be the biggest rematch for the title the uffc has ever had.

I do not like it when fighters get rematches for the belt after a single win, not to mention after getting destroyed either.

Not a big fan of Rematches happening so quickly, especially if the fight is finished decisively... But guys like Goose and Glover also need to prove they are worthy of a title shot. I just dont see either of them getting past the better LHW's to get that shot

How about you guys offer some other people you think should have gotten the title shot instead of complaining about him getting the shot? I don't think one person out of the 3 pages has offered any kind of other match up for the winner of Jones/Henderson.... This board is seriously turning into a fucking cryfest... I'm fine with Machida getting the shot... who else is going to get it? Shogun's resume after the Jones fight isn't that impressive either... he beat an old forrest griffin, lost to Henderson where he looked sloppy, and then again looked sloppy beating Vera who he was "supposed" to roll through.

i dont have any real beef with machida getting the shot. whether he is most deserving or not isnt an issue for me, i think he will put on the most competitive match and thats what interests me
