| explain rounds 4 and 5 to me (spoiler)
I am just an uneducated MMA fan, please explain to me how Bendo won rounds 4 and 5? Was it that kick from the ground that did no damage but looked good? What else did he do?
It really seemed like Bendo was tired somewhere around round 3 and stopped attacking and pushing forward, you know, that octagon control thing. Frankie was landing solid shots to the face, scored a TD, had control of Bendo's neck for a decent amount of time. Bendo abandoned those leg kicks which were the only damage he really did in the entire fight and he stopped throwing them because Frankie is the best in MMA at adjusting to a fighter mid fight and kept countering when he tried throwing them. It was Frankie landing the significant leg strikes at the end of the fight. Seriously. What did Bendo do rounds 3 4 and 5?
For the record I had Bendo clearly winning their first fight, I am not some biased Edgar fan, I just cannot fathom how Bendo won the rematch.
Round 1 clearly Bendo
Round 2 clearly Frankie
Round 3 tie
Round 4 close but Frankie
Round 5 clearly Frankie

Frankie won rounds 2 and 5. Bendo won round 1. 3 and 4 were close, and went the way of the champ.

honestly I'm not sure who the hell won that fight, it seemed more like a draw then a clear cut winner. I think as usual Henderson landed the harder shots. Both guys could have really gone after it harder, but the onus is on the challenger to really make a statement. I think Frankie fought smart, had his spots. I wouldn't have been amazed if it went his way, but this fight was a coin flip. I hate to agree with Dana, but when guys lay back and point fight, shit like this can happen. I think Frankie needs to set down on his strikes more than he does, because guys who fight him always seems to land the harder shots, unless he can catch them with a counter. Either way I think he can win 2 or 3 fights and be right back up there if he wanted to. Although I hope he goes to 145, I think Aldo murder's his legs, but I won't ever count this tough bastard out again....

I have no idea how Bendo could be given that fight, he really didn't do much in this fight. People like saying when you're the challenger, you have to take the belt. I don't think Bendo took it in the first fight either, but that fight was much closer.
Im sick and tired of these fucking moronic judges we have scoring these fights. Bendo even said in the post fight press that his corner told him to turn it up a notch but he didn't because he felt he was winning wtf. The only knockdown was scored by Edgar, I mean the only person who seemed to be in trouble that fight was Bendo.

I feel bad for Edgar. It was a close fight but I really did think he won the fight. My breakdown was as follows:
Rd1: Henderson
Rd2: Edgar
Rd3: Draw
Rd4: Edgar
Rd5: Edgar
Sucks that he probably won't get another title shot for a while because he's 0-2 versus Henderson, even though both were extremely close and controversial decisions.

I don't really feel bad for Edgar though because I thought Bendo clearly won the first fight and Edgar did not deserve an immediate rematch in the first place.

Who actually said that Bendo won 5th round??
I think it is more than obvious that Frankie dominated that round.
