| UFC boss on 'TUF 16' coach Roy Nelson: He's tolerable in small doses UFC boss on 'TUF 16' coach Roy Nelson: He's tolerable in small doses Quote:
"Him saying [expletive] like that goes along with what I said about the stupid [expletive] that comes out of this guy's mouth," White said. "The difference is I (now) have to hear it three days a week. When he fights randomly three times a year, I have to hear it in small spurts. Now I've got to listen to dumb [expletive] three days a week."
Nelson (17-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC), who coaches against Shane Carwin (12-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and then meets him at the show's live finale in December, said the recent on-set conflict stemmed from his choices for his assistant coaching staff, which initially included Olympic gold medalist and pro-wrestling veteran Kurt Angle, former Strikeforce champ Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, and convicted steroid dealer turned anti-steroid advocate Victor Conte. He's since reworked the list to include current UFC fighters such as Jake Shields, Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz, as well as Strikeforce champ Gilbert Melendez.
"I'm always at the back of the bus when it comes to the UFC," Nelson said. "I'm just trying to further MMA to the next level, hold journalism up to higher standards, holding fights to higher standards, holding promotions to higher standards, holding athletic commissions to higher standards, and even holding the fans to higher standards."
White, though, suggested the reason for their beef is much more simple: Nelson is just an annoying person.
"Do you think that going into this that I didn't think Roy Nelson was going to annoy the [expletive] out of me?" White asked. "I mean, that's what he does – he's annoying. He's annoying, and the stuff that comes out of his mouth makes no sense.
"He's Roy Nelson, that's why."

LOL Nelson indeed may be annoying but in this case all he said was right. And it is not that he revealed some shocking news. Everybody already knows that Dana is a liar and he contradicts himself all the time, not to mention that he acts as if he is some tough fighter himself lol
Only because of that, I want Nelson to beat Carwin, so Dana gets pissed again lol

A guy goes out rain or shine and busts his ass even when sick and hurt yet lex Luther still finds a reason to trash him.
Now I get it, here come the normal fat jokes an shit but this is a guy who fights and does it every night. He did more in the Jds fight than Dana's little pets Mir and Cain and he dismantled Dana's cash-cow kimbo without sweating.
In summary, fuck Dana white and his constant disregard for the grown men who bleed to line his shitty pockets.

To be fair, Dana was rooting for Kimbo to fail more than anybody.

Fair enough, but not against Roy.

Roy is probably super obnoxious, but I'm guessing Dana isn't delightful.

I am pretty sure Dana wanted Kimbo to beat Nelson.
Kimbo hat the potential to give Dana way much more money than he did.

I just get so sick of Dana talking about fighters. He has one of the few professions in all of the world that would allow him to run his mouth without having to deal with the repurcussions. He's that little kid that talks tough when the grown ups are around.

Could you imagine the mess it would cause if any commissioner of another organized sport talked that way about an athlete like that?
Let alone one who never got arrested, popped for PED's (clearly), and for the most part was respectful of both opponents and the profession?
