The world revolves around money not honor. As a fighter Silva and every other fighter needs to get in make the most out of their careers, cover their own asses and get out the fight game healthy.
You suffer from the same inept ability as H0ss in that you are incapable of looking at perspectives from another point of view. You can't look at it from Silva's side but only from that as a selfish fight fan.
It's all about what you want from the sport.

If his goal was to avoid hard fights then why go after a guy thats is ranked just below him (once considered GOAT) in GSP? Hell why even go after a super fight period.

You can still be an intelligent fighter with the heart of a champion. It's not that black and white. Fedor would probably still be fighting right now had he made better career choices and you see where that got him.
