Damn, now I feel bad for wanting to change my av and sig, like I'm kicking a person when they are down. Mayhem has always had some mental issues, this is not as bad as when he broke into his ex's place and beat up her boyfriend while in bed. Hopefully he will get the help he needs. A couple of things here though.

First, I've seen a few people bring up Rampage. What Mayhem did was not nearly as bad as him, he in no way hurt or put anyone's life in jeopardy, Rampage most certainly did. Mayhem does need to get help before he goes as far as Rampge though.

Second, this happening in a church doesn't somehow make it worse than say if he would have done it in a 7-11. The only real difference is that the church is more profitable. Now, if he would have done it in a Toys-r-Us it would be horrible.

I think Mayhem is just crying out for help and attention, I hope he gets the help before he does hurt someone.

Mayhem avoided being formally charged in the case at this time by posting bail set at $20,000 yet the case remains open. Orange County District Attorney spokesperson Farrah Emami told ESPN.com

“Generally, and (Miller’s) case hasn’t come to us yet, if the defendant is arrested and they remain in custody, they are generally, or they need to be, arraigned in a couple of days of their arrest, if they remain in custody.”

“If they post bail and they are released, then that gives the police department additional time to continue their investigation. When (the defendant) posts bail they are given a date to appear (in Orange County Superior Court).

“Generally, before that date, the case will be presented to the district attorney’s office and then we will review it to determine if criminal charges are appropriate. At this point, the case has not been submitted to our office.”

On Sunday, Miller opened up even more, commenting several times on Twitter, saying that what he did was something “socially unacceptable.”

“(It was) not a cry for attention, personal glory, or monetary gain,” he tweeted. “I did that in my time fighting for the UFC and have come to see I was wrong.”

Miller said little to directly explain his actions at the church, but did address those who he felt were legitimately concerned about his well being. “I am safe, with people that love me, and hope that you will join me. If I ever hurt anyone, I am sorry.”
