Is this the start of a new TRT division in the UFC? I do give Sonnen the edge as he is 1-0 (Nate) vs TRT users. I assume back in 2003 Sonnen wasn't yet on TRT. I hope they at least book a legitimate fight to be the co-main event. I really hope Bruce Buffer announces the weight as well as the current testosterone level of each fighter.

Sonnen talks about not wanting easy fights...
He calls out Machida, he fights Brian Stann...
He calls out Rampage... He fights Forrest...(yes Forrest beat rampage, but at this point Rampage is less washed up.)
I think the UFC wants to get him to the title shot against Jones. They know he can sell, and so can Jones. that would be a big PPV...
I wouldnt mind seeing it either. Sonnen would get rag-dolled across the cage...
wow really? Rampage is less washed up then Griffin? Id say thats debatable.. Rampage hasnt had a good showing since he knocked out Wanderlei (sigh, I hate being reminded of that fight, and I blame you for it). I suppose you could give him props for defeating machida, but with those judges that night, I think forrest would have had the same odds of beating Lyoto that rampage did.
i have little interest in this fight, though certainly would love to see how chael handles a much larger fighter with a solid jj game and good tdd. in the end, i really don't want to see sonnen at lwh until he learns to put something into his punches. being the smaller guy without finishing ability becomes a recipe for brain damage.

I can see Sonnen gettting the finish in this fight.
Its well known that Forrest doesnt have the best chin, now Sonnen doesnt have the heaviest hands, but I think he can atleast drop Forrest if he connects. Sonnen is a killer, Forrest not so much.
On the ground, Forrest shows "OK" strike defense imo, And someone as busy as Sonnen should be able to get a few good shots in to rattle Forrest. From there its all over with imo.
If not, Forrest by Triangle lol.

Forrest is pretty great off his back, I could see that giving Chael some real problems
But, Forrest also has pillows for fists, I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Sonnen wasn't in a huge rush to take him down
I could probably see a lot of clinching against the cage, and from there see Sonnen take it to the ground. Forrest would have a lot more trouble working an offensive guard if he is on his back against the cage
