Stann Responds To Shlemenko Claims That He Faked An Injury To Get Out Of Lombard Bout Quote:
Brian Stann was accused of getting out of his bout with Hector Lombard by faking an injury earlier today by Alexander Shlemenko.
“They offered Brian Stann to fight Hector Lombard. He got injured, and then the next thing you know – he’s fighting Michael Bisping. I can see the logic – for Brian Stann it makes more sense to fight Bisping, he’s simply more popular in the UFC than Hector Lombard. That’s why beating Bisping means more than beating Lombard, who’s a risky opponent.”
Stann responded to the comments via his Official Twitter Account.

I don't believe much of what Dana White says, but I was inclined to believe him when he said "It's next to impossible to fake an injury to get out of a fight."
I'm thinking the UFC has inhouse doctors that check out the fighters.
They have an investment to protect (fight card)

What's Shlemenko's contract status with Bellator? Maybe he's drumming up beef to hype a future fight--he's in the same weight class as Stann.

Stay classy Brian Stann, stay classy. Brain Stann should be Dana's go to guy for public relations advising.. The Fertitta's should impliment a new rule, Dana must consult with Stann before he goes on his rants.
