After the 1st round Frankie caught every leg kick, and used it to counter. Bendo abandoned it because it stopped working.

I think Frankie has a shot against Aldo, but cutting to 135 seems like too much. Hardly ever see guys have more success after cutting a ton of weight.

I would love to see Frankie move down. Edgar/Aldo is a dream match up for me.

He abandoned them because Frankie made adjustments after Bendo kept nailing him. I only noticed it the second time I watched the fight because I was wondering why Bendo stopped throwing them.

He did adjust, however Aldo is a much better striker than Bendo is, and has tremendous takedown defense. Frankie wont have any sort of speed advantage against him.

I cant disagree with you on that. Aldo is the best in the biz when it comes to leg kicks and is a superior striker when compared to Bendo. I would still love to see the match up though. The biggest advantage I see for Frankie would be his heart. The guy just keeps on coming. It is an intangible that may just be enough to score a victory over Aldo.
