| UFC 151 - How can I justify purchasing?!
Seriously.
Being a big Hendo fan I have planned on getting the event ever since it was announced. I realize that by being critical of the card leaves me open to being called all sorts of things but I'm sorry..... this is a bad card.
Some cards with little expectations can turn out to be the best but I cannot see how this card is PPV worthy outside the Main Event.
Jay Hieron just got a bs win in Legacy Fighting and now he is a co-main event on a PPV??
I'll still watch the fights of course but to me many cards have been watered down for a while now and this is a pretty bad one imo.

i'm really looking forward to siver/yagin (spelling?)
but yeh, overall it doesn't have the depth of other cards. also, no mw or hw fights and only one lwh... what the hell is going on?

UFC 151 has a solid undercard but they are missing some big names on the main card. With that said, although they aren't main even caliber fighters at this point, Ellenberger vs Hieron is going to be a sick fight. Plus it's a remach so that adds another dynamic to it. Should be easy for UFC to promote it. Dennis Siver vs. Eddie Yagin is my pic for fight of the night right now. That fight to me is almost worth the price of the ppv.

UFC is using up a lot of bigger names for the Fox cards... Which I have no problem with.
it's safe to say that if this card does good buys, all the credit goes to jones/hendo.

Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson
Jay Hieron vs. Jake Ellenberger
Dennis Hallman vs. Thiago Tavares
Dennis Siver vs. Eddie Yagin
John Lineker vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani
Danny Castillo vs. Michael Johnson
Takeya Mizugaki vs. Jeff Hougland
Henry Martinez vs. Daron Cruickshank
Tim Means vs. Abel Trujillo
Jacob Volkmann vs. Shane Roller
Charlie Brenneman vs. Kyle Noke
I bet it turns out to be a sleeper card, looks not so hot on paper but goes off with a bang. Seems to be happening with the cards like that these days.

I hear you guys and I am looking forward to some of the matchups and seeing certain fighters like Tim Means but I just wish they put on a little better card for such an awesome headliner.

I thought it was a lack luster card too, but the Main more than make up for it. I'm also interested in Siver / Yagin too.

One more big fight on the main card would really tighten this up though, it's too bad

In paper this is a crappy card. Main event is good but other than that it is horrible. No big names at all. This is a normal card for some UFC on Versus or UFC on Fuel or something like that.
Even this saturday's Strikeforce card is better.
UFC is doing weird things, they put very good cards on Fox, but lately they have been doing very shitty PPVs in paper. 147 was bad, 149 has been probably one of the worst cards ever, 151 looks very bad, 152 is also bad. 153 looks good (Finally!!) 154 so does not look like anything special (Just like 151, good main event, but nothing else).
I really do not understand how anyone pay for that. Even for free I will watch just 1-2 fights of those PPVs. Who pays almost 60 bucks to watch that??
