The UFC seems to care more about stacking free cards than they do about stacking ppvs anymore. Whatever. It saves me money. I still think Zuffa is fucking up huge. | long term, the biggest money is in being 100% mainstream; being the next nfl. so the ufc is positioning for that.
i also think a lot of analysts are expecting ppv to go the way of the dinosaurs and be replaced with online ad and subscription models. and, if so, i'd say having a major network as your distribution partner will get you a lot farther than a ppv partner.
