I think that people might be tired of Edgar rematches too. Not like the first fight was fight of the year, or night even. But I do think the main factor is that there may be a lot of talent in the LW division, but there isn't any huge names to sell it. Fox is also killing UFC ppvs.

Sadly, the smallest name on the UFC undercard is a bigger name than the biggest name on any M-1 card.

LOL I have never defended to death any M-1 event. I do not remember ever saying "Oh this M-1 card is so great, it has plenty of great fighters, it will be awesome".

M1 has some good fighters, of course most of them are completely unknown, and I just watch there the fights that I do care about. I do exactly the same thing with UFC, SF, ONE FC or whatever org.

And now that you compare M-1 and UFC, M-1 does not has the money, fame, popularity, reputation the UFC has. M-1 does not ask almots 60 bucks for a PPV.
M-1 is a discret promotion, so for obvious reasons UFC should make much much better cards than M-1.

When a UFC card is good I say that it is so good, but when a card sucks big time, for some reason you still try to find some excuse to defend it. Or even better, you do not have any arguments to defend the card so you procceed to talk about how bad is M-1 hahaaha
WTF M-1 has to do here anyway??
Next time you will compare UFC with KSW or with XFL?

The card doesn't suck until it's over.

That is the entire point that you fail to realize. You complain about lack of star power. I point out that you love M-1 cards yet they have next to no star power. It's called being a hypocrite.

I never said that the fights are gonna be bad, we will see that tomorrow. My point is that you can not say that you are the best org in the world with the best fighters in the world and then ask 60 bucks for a card like that!!
People need to get excited, to get hyped up, they need to say "Oh this card looks so good". You can not get excited with a card that in paper looks like that!!
Main event is very good, but all the rest is nothing. I would have nothing against it if it was some "UFC on Fuel" or "UFC on Versus" card. But it is a PPV, and PPVs are supposed to be the bast cards, because if they ask money, then they should give a very good product.

Look at UFC on Fox 5 for example, that card looks much better than any PPV we have had this year. It is a card for free and so far it looks really great!!
UFC on Fox 4 also was pretty good.
I do not understand why they make good cards on Fox but they do shitty cards for the PPVs?
And this is not only my opinion, look at other forums, ask people what they think about UFC 151 and I can guarantee you that most of people will tell you that the card looks horrible. And it is not because we are UFC haters or M-1 nuthuggers, it is because the card really looks very very bad on paper.

Be honest, do you think that this card is worthy of paying 60 bucks?

In other occasions I have said "M-1 has good fighters and there have been very good fights in their cards".
However I have never said "Oooh M-1 makes so amazing cards".
I am talking now about how cards look in paper. And maybe UFC 151 will have very good fights, but in paper it looks horrible.
