i'm actually fairly surprised sonnen is -220 and not something closer. sure, sonnen performed better against silva than forrest did, but styles make fights and forrest is not a great matchup for him. there's still a decent chance that forrest does his own takedowns and just grinds him like he did franklin. |
I know Forrest has looked less than stellar lately but is tdd is pretty good and his size and strength should work well for him stopping Sonnen's td's. And Sonnen isn't known for his "devasting" striking. Then again if the Forrest we've been seeing lately could flake out mid fight and run out of the octogon for no reason. Anyone know what the odds are for that? |
