So i've just re-watched the Munoz Vs Weidman card and I'm even more impressed with Francis Carmont than the first time I watched the card. I haven't seen too much talk about him, which is probably due to Weidmans amazing performance against Munoz, but does anyone else see this guy as the next big contender at 185? He's complete monster and seems to be extremely well rounded. It may be too soon to say but I can really see this guy hanging with the top contenders and being right up there in the title discussion in the next year. Idk I just think his performance was overlooked because everyone was so impressed with Weidman and that was the big topic after the card. Personally i'd like to see him fight legitimate MW player and if he wins throw him in there with the a top MW guys. He seems to have a ton of potential.

I still have it in the ole DVR. I'll give it another look-see.

I only saw that fight once and yes he looked very impressive in there. I think he should get someone like Keven or a Cote next to see where he's at.

It remains to be seen what Carmont can do against high level competition and he has earned his shot at a higher ranked opponent. We will see what he can do.

^^ double post btw lol. Anyway, in his last fight the guy looked like a beast against a strong opponent that is Karlos vemola. Trains with the likes of gsp and rory at tristar, so he could be a force at mw division in the near future. How bout giving him Munoz or ed Herman for his next fight?
