Yeah, I've rolled with a few women who were scary good, women freestyle wrestlers are tough as nails and the women's muay thai class is fucking terrifying, I joke you not, they are killers. Technique, skill and talent transcend gender IMO. Until you've grappled with women who give a shit about what they're training, I think alot of people don't know what they're talking about on the subject.
My major problem with WMMA is depth of well-roundedness at each weightclass, as I find you get alot of high caliber BJJ/Judo/Wrestling based female fighters, who don't necessarily have the overall game down yet, but I think it is just because WMMA is a few years behind. I always compare bad WMMA fights to bad HW fights, sloppy and unrefined overall games, not ready for primetime eyes and somewhat one-dimensional.
