Stranger things have happened though. | Silva dropped Forrest like a brick with a punch much lighter than what rampage hit him with.
That being said, I predict Goose will win, especially with the way Shogun has been looking as of late; however, I don't see it being a KO/tko.

Stranger things have happened though. | Very true. WoW everyone is hating on Shogun. Shogun has fought the best that MMA has to offer and done quite well. I just dont think that Goose is ready for Shogun. The only thing that favors Goose is his massive size. The Wildcard is if Shogun is going to come into this fight in shape. Even though he has gassed he still hung in there with Henderson and beat Vera.
Shogun takes this

Silva won more from a submission by strikes than a knockout. Hahaha.

This is good, I like goose but shogun is my favorite fighter even I hate how he's looked recently. Like I said before , he needs someone to light a fire under his ass and maybe a little trash talk will motivate him.

Hahaha. | Forrest ran into a very fast punch that had nasty accuracy. The force of impact was from Forrest's movement, not Silva's torquing into the punch. It's like running into a wall, chin first: The wall doesn't hit hard, you do.

I think the outcome of this fight depends heavily on how shogun reacts to getting stepped over by Lyoto for the next title shot. If shogun gets motivated, and decides to make a statement, I dont think this goes well for goose..
On the other side, if shogun comes out disheartened and unfocused, I think goose really has the potential to light him up.
Goose better be on his game though.

For mine, it was the cumulative effect of all the strikes Silva had landed and Forrest (in his thoroughly rocked state) looking for the exit.
On topic, it's a bold prediction by Goose. I can see him hurting Shogun with that nasty uppercut and out-working him for the decision win but I will be astonished if he's able to KO him cleanly.
