IMO, the only sure thing Hamill has going for him in this fight is youth and maybe some loopy HR power, but Janitor also holds that as well.

If Hamill comes in super healthy and fresh from the layoff, I could see him being the hungrier fighter and maybe outworking Janitor, but I can't remember the last Matt Hamill performance that made me see him as anything close to remarkable, maybe the Addy and Munoz fights? I think Janitor has too many avenues to take this fight and Hamill hasn't shown me enough to think otherwise.

Hamill was actually looking good in the first round against Goose. He established a very solid jab and Goose was having trouble getting any offense going. Of coarse he rocked Hamill with an uppercut and finished him with strikes in the 2nd.

Has Vlad impressed you recently? He got knocked down by a jab and tko'd against Goose, and I personally don't gauge much from his fights with Brilz and Ferreira. I don't recall his fights against Pokrajac and Marshall.

To me it is a pretty close fight on paper. I think Vlad has more power in his punches but to me Hamill has a better jab, and he does have the reach advantage. He's also the younger man as Vlad is now 41. I would expect Hamill to have a slight wrestling advantage but neither guy has utilized their wrestling in a while really, so with that fact and how close it should be, might as well call it a wash...

Hammil has got one hell of a tough fight now, no idea what his original opponent was like, but The Janitor has some crazy power there. I got Vlad via a UD or late stoppage. I respect and admire Matt Hammil, but unless he has really come back THAT re-energised I'd say The Janitor has his way with him.

This is stupid, just because someones not a future champ doesn't mean he doesn't offer anything, he's an exciting fighter and he's a tough test for anyone rising up thru the rankings, he holds a victory over the current LHW Champion, and he's one of my favorite fighters.

WAR HAMMER!!!!

Semantically speaking, he does, but that statement's validity applies only to literal phraseology.

The current LHW champion made Hamill look silly... That said, he did the same thing to Vlady.

Lol should have been a nq at best. And it is only going to benefit him financially to fight Istick to preferring him staying retired..
